Study Association Proto

Proto is the study association of the Creative Technology and Interactive Technology programs of the University of Twente. It offers its members a place to socialize and have fun, but also the possibility to explore your career options. You can do so by attending all different kinds of activities, ranging from lunch lectures and workshops to game nights and sports activities, and many other things! All activities are organised by different committees within Proto. These committees are run by Proto members and offer members a way to learn more about the ins and outs of organising events. Next to that, you can relax in the Protopolis, the room of the study association located on campus, and have a drink only a few meters away.

Geschiedenis

Proto is quite young for a study association, being founded in 2011. The association was formed when Creative Technology came to be at the University of Twente. In 2018, the Interaction Technology master joined Proto.

Activiteiten

The activities Proto offers are quite diverse. To get more insight in your career options or to gain more knowledge on subjects, you can visit lunch lectures and workshops given by different guest speakers. If you want to socialize with your fellow students, you can attend several different activities organised by different committees of Proto. These activities include: trips, sports activities, drinks, movie nights, prom, parties, etc. There’s something for everyone!
